DeltaEarth was able to present two different workshops:

1. A classic pinecone bird feeder workshop

2. A seed ball-making workshop

HCIA’s Earth Day event attracted well over 400 visitors, and we were grateful to have been able to meet so many people across Hudson County! Over the course of the event, DeltaEarth taught both children and adults alike the process of creating a bird feeder from natural pinecones, as well as an easy method to creating round seed balls using milkweed seeds.

We hope that these workshops enabled families to learn more about bird and monarch butterfly conservation, especially in urban areas.
